WEST HARRISON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION MONTHLY MEETING – 6:30 PM October 11, 2023 LIBRARY – MONDAMIN, IA The West Harrison Community School District Board of Education met in regular session with the following present: Randy Wohlers, Julie Kuhlman, Kim Nunez, Lorraine Thomas and Hillary Stevenson Directors. Marty Fonley, Superintendent, Jackie Fonley, Principal, Tonya Radil, Board Secretary/Treasurer Visitors. WHEA Representative Laura Rife, Alex Lamp, Rachel Ortiz, Troy Maasen, Emmalyce Tyson, Caden Etter, Missy Etter, Jason Barry, Nelson Clark, Mason McIntosh, Leah Frink, Amanda Lawrenson, Dustin Wallis, Stetson Wallis, Arden Wallis, Kathy Glennie, Lily Ely, Ethan Blue, and Aiyana Bowman Called to Order. The meeting was called to order in the Library at 6:30 p.m. by President Wohlers. Roll Call. Consent Agenda. Motion was made by Director Nunez and second by Director Stevenson to consent agenda, board minutes from September 9, 2023, approval of monthly bills, and approval of financial reports. Discussion. Motion was made by Director Thomas and second by Director Stevenson to approve the resolution. Discussion. Directors Wohlers aye, Kuhlman aye, Nunez aye, Thomas aye and Stevenson aye. 5-0 Motion carried. Consideration of Resolution to Set a Public Hearing on the Sale of One Bus to West Monona CSD. Motion was made by Director Kuhlman and second by Director Nunez to approve the resolution. Discussion.
