Missouri Valley schools, WoodmanLife hosts Military Appreciation Night on Sept. 4
Missouri Valley Community Schools, in partnership with WoodmenLife, is proud to host a Military Appreciation Night during the upcoming home football game against Logan-Magnolia on Friday, September 4.
As part of the pregame ceremony, local veterans, active-duty military members, and family members of deployed service personnel from Missouri Valley, West Harrison, and Logan-Magnolia are invited to participate on the field. Together, participants will honor the nation by holding a large American flag—generously donated by WoodmenLife—during the playing of the National Anthem.
Organizers extend their most sincere appreciation and gratitude to all who have served. This special event offers a meaningful opportunity for neighboring communities to come together and express deep gratitude for the dedicated service and sacrifices of area military members and their families.
A practice session will be held at 5:30 PM on Friday, September 4, prior to the game, to review procedures for unfolding and folding the flag.
