Memorial Mass for Charles “Chuck” Neubauer will be held in May of 2021 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Orleans, Neb. Inurnment will follow at the Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, at Orleans. Memorial Book signing and rosary will be held prior to the service.
Charles Earl “Chuck” Neubauer, 53 years of age, of Carter Lake, formerly of Missouri Valley, passed away on Feb. 17, 2021, in Carter Lake. Chuck was born Nov. 3, 1967, at Humboldt, Neb., the oldest of three sons born to Carl and Nancy (Luther) Neubauer. He received his education from Missouri Valley Public Schools, graduating with the class of 1986. Chuck pursued higher education from Buena Vista College and took classes to become a Computer Programmer.
On June 23, 1990, Chuck married Cindy Hall. The couple made their home in the Missouri Valley area and later divorced.
Chuck worked as a Computer Programmer for ES&S. Chuck enjoyed NASCAR races, shooting his guns, listening to music, and collecting dragons.
Chuck leaves to celebrate his life; his mother, Nancy Neubauer of Missouri Valley; his father, Carl Neubauer of Bellevue, Neb.; two brothers: Chris Neubauer of Omaha, Neb.; and Corey Neubauer of Chicago, Ill. and his fiancé, Barbara Vitek of Blair, Neb.; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
A memorial has been established in Chuck’s honor and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
