CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mondamin City Hall Monday, April 28, 2025 6:45 P.M. 1. Opening of Meeting a. Mayor Jamie Howrey called the meeting to order at 6:57 p.m., leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. b. Roll Call Council members present: Mary Seago, John Glennie, and Jim Rains. Karen Breyfogle was present by phone. Council absent: Chad Wilson. Staff present: Alyx Hirst. Public present: None. c. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve agenda by M. Seago, with a second by J. Glennie. Motion carried 4-0. 2. Public Comments None 3. New Business a. Resolution #2025-07: Adoption of FY2025-2026 City Budget M. Seago motioned to adopt Resolution #2025-07 and it was seconded by J. Glennie. Roll call. All ayes. Motion carried 4-0. b. Building Permit: 401 Pine St. K. Breyfogle motioned to approve building permit at 401 Pine St. to replace foundation block around front porch and to replace footings as needed. The motion was seconded by J. Rains. Motion carried 4-0. c. Building Permit: 1473 Hwy 127 J. Rains motioned to approve Building Permit for 1473 Hwy 127 for a fence. The motion was seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 4-0. d. Street Preservation Projects on the North Side of Town Discussion. J. Glennie stated that he would like to get the project scheduled as summer is approaching fast. J. Glennie and J. Rains stated they will get together to assess the street conditions and reach out to contractors for bids. 4. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, K. Breyfogle made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 4-0.
