Pisgah City Hall Amended- Council Meeting Agenda Thursday September 17, 2026 – 6:00 p.m. Meeting called to order by Mayor T Hamer at 6:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: 6:01 p.m. Roll Call: M Jenson, R Woodward, V Mc Hugh, K Wilson, (N Madsen Absent) City Employees Mayor T Hamer, T Noah Approval of Agenda: Motion made by M Jenson 2nd by K Wilson Ayes Carry 4-0 Approval of Minutes & Bills: Motion by R Woodward, 2nd V McHugh Ayes Carry 4-0 Approval of Financial Report: Motion by V McHugh, 2nd M Jenson Ayes Carry 4-0 Visitors: Attorney C Fichter New Business: Public Hearing 1st hearing on MidAmerican Energy Franchise Agreement Ordinance- M Jenson motioned to open the public hearing at 6:05 2nd by K Wilson, with no proposed changes to the agreement, and no public input R Woodward motioned to close the public hearing at 6:23 and pass the first reading of the ordinance, 2nd by M Jenson, Roll call vote Ayes Carry 4-0. 2nd hearing to be at next month’s meeting. Resolution 17-9-2026 An Authorization for payment of monthly city obligations- After review and reading of Resolution17-9-2026 a motion was made by R Woodward to pass the resolution as written, 2nd by V McHugh, Roll Call Vote Ayes Carry 4-0 Water and Sewer class and testing for city employee- Discussion was had on sending city employee N Brezina to class for Water & Sewer licensing. The city will cover the cost of testing and classes. Motion made by M Jenson, and 2nd by V McHugh, Ayes Carry 4-0 Resolution 2026-09-17-A Resolution Approving and Clarifying Employment Terms- After reading and discussion of Resolution 2026-09-17-A, Covering T Noahs contract, and benefits, A motion was made by R Woodward to approve the resolution as written, 2nd by K Wilson, a Roll call vote was taken Ayes Carry 4-0 Possible closed session to discuss ongoing or imminent litigation strategy with counsel pursuant session and 21.5(c) – V McHugh motioned to enter closed session, and 2nd was made by K Wilson at 6:34 Roll call vote Ayes Carry 4-0 at 7:16 R Woodward motioned to end closed session and was 2nd by K Wilson Ayes Carry 4-0 Clerk Report – Vacant Maintenance, Water & Sewer – T Noah discussed updates on the water project and other fall projects, tree trimming, building repairs, and road patching. Fire Department – The Department will be having a open house for Halloween.
