New Business: * Old Home Café – Liquor License: Approved 1st L McWilliams 2nd N Madsen Yes – 4-0 * Youths Damaging Parks: Decision was made to send generic letters to parents about children damaging the parks along with an updated copy of the City Ordinance. An Updated Code of Conduct will be added to the November meeting for the first reading; 1st K Wilson 2nd N Madsen Yes – 4-0 * Customer Complaint – Barnyard Animals: Council voted to mail a letter based on written complaints. Also, an updated ordinance will be added to the November meeting for the first reading; Council agreed to first reading next meeting; 1st K Wilson 2nd S Baumfalk Yes – 4-0 * L McWilliams - gave her verbal resignation from her city council seat. The Council accepted her resignation; 1st S Baumfalk 2nd Karen Wilson Yes – 3-0 Clerk Report: T Noah filled in for clerk this meeting. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah – Reported that the Lead survey had been completed and submitted to the DNR. He also gave updates on the insurance claim for damages to the park and city hall. Also discussed the progression of the USDA water project. Fire Department: T Noah – Reported the Fire Dept. had a successful “Pancake Breakfast Feed Fundraiser” Saturday October 19th 8:00 – 10:30 a.m. The Department raised almost $1600 that will be used for EMS supplies and gear.
