Mayor and/or Commission Reports: N Madsen – Parks & Sewer, M Dreesen – Water, R Woodward Landfill Commission, S Baumfalk – EMA – S Baumfalk reported; Attended EMA and Sheriff’s meeting. Public In-Put: None Old Business: * Shop Repairs – T Noah finally received an estimate after waiting three months and it is too low. He has started looking up the replacement prices and getting quotes and will continue to work with the insurance company. He is also pursuing grant money. * Property Clean-up & Mowing – Letters were sent and are having positive results. New Business: * C Fichter – Property Updates: C Fichter has filed the necessary paperwork and court dates have been set. Several properties have been resolved and some others are pending but progressing. * L Hagerman – Building Permit: Approved 1st K Wilson 2nd M Dreessen – Yes 5-0 * L McWilliams – Protocol for Mayor & Mayor Pro Tem: Discussion was had about keeping the Mayor and Council Members informed of each other’s absences and follow the established Ordinance. * Part-time On Call Council Member: Mayor and Council members can volunteer for this. K Wilson requested that the Council should shadow the city employees to learn positions. * Tree Removal & Trimming: Council members reviewed the quotes; Motion made by M Dreessen to award the job to Beatty’s Tree Service 2nd K Wilson – Yes 5-0 * Annual Review: After discussion, the Council agreed T Noah will receive a wage increase of $4.80 ph cost of living/merit raise/due to added responsibilities over the past two years; 1st K Wilson 2nd M Dreessen – Yes 5-0 * Review and Approve Supplemental Engineering Services: An “Archaeological Core Sample Study” is a USDA requirement and must be completed to advance the water project. 1st M Dreessen 2nd N Madsen – Yes 5-0 Clerk Report: H Nejedly will continue working as a contract employee. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah – Reported that the parks are continuing to be vandalized by a group of youths.
