City of Pisgah City Hall – Council Meeting Minutes Thursday – September 25, 2025 – 6:00 P.M. Call to Order: Mayor Pro-Tem K Wilson 6:00 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: 6:00 p.m. Roll Call: S Baumfalk, M Jenson, N Madsen, A Beers, K Wilson, (Mayor B Mitsch – Absent) & City Employees; T Noah & H Nejedly Approval of Agenda: 1st M Jenson 2nd N Madsen Ayes – 5-0 Approval of Minutes and Bills: 1st N Madsen 2nd S Baumfalk Ayes – 4-0 Nyes – 1-0 Approval of Financial Report: 1st S Baumfalk 2nd M Jenson Ayes – 4-0 Nyes – 1-0 Visitors On Agenda: Attorney C Fichter & Deputy T Denton Mayor and/or Commission Reports: N Madsen – Parks, A Beers - Sewer, Mayor B Mitsch Landfill Commission, S Baumfalk – EMA Old Business: New Business: Building Permit – Armstrong: Council discussed the issue and will contact the Mayor to reach out. Part Time Pay: M Jensen proposed Part time Employee be paid $20.00 per hour, 1st N Madsen 2nd S Baumfalk – Ayes 4 Nyes – 1 Water Project – Update: T Noah reported the grant to the USDA has been approved and they offered the city $1.1 million dollars toward the water project. This Project includes a generator for the water plant, new water mains though out town, fire hydrants, upgrades to the pump house, and meters/pits. He will also be working with the CDBG for other grant, and low interest loan options. Council Member A Beers Requested to be put on the October Agenda: She would like city employees to be required to have a GPS tracker and time clock installed on their personal phones. Clerk Report: H Nejedly; Working and doing what needs done. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah reported that the Sewer Plant Generator has been repaired and is in service. He has submitted the repair costs to FEMA along with request for labor overtime hours, and fuel. These costs could be covered as the storm was declared a disaster, he will keep the council updated. Fire Department: T Noah – Reported the department is doing well and they will have their Halloween Open House, Friday October 31, 2025. Chili, hot dogs and candy will be served.
