Harrison County Supervisors Meeting December 16, 2024 All three Board of Supervisor members attended the retirement party for Susan Bonham, Liz Lenz, and John Straight. No discussion/action was taken by the Board. ATTEST: Megan Reffett, Deputy Auditor Tony Smith, Chairman December 19, 2024 Chairman Tony Smith called the meeting to order with members Brian Rife and John Straight in attendance. The tentative agenda was approved on a motion by Rife, second by Smith. Motion carried. Previous minutes were approved on a motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion Carried. Attendance: Auditor Susan Bonham, Michelle Stirtz, Paul J. Rhoten, Rebecca Wilkerson, Sarah Delanty, Jack Jones Treasurer’s Deputy Appointment Shelia Phillips presented a request to appoint Brandi Wendt as Property Tax Deputy. The appointment was approved on a motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion carried. Bank Reconciliation Treasurer Phillips presented the bank reconciliation for the Motor Vehicle and Tax bank accounts. Approve Employee Payout The board was presented with an accumulated leave payout for Megan Reffett in the amount of $9,024.91. Payout was approved on a motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion carried. Approve Employee Payout The board was presented with a accumulated leave payout for Liz Lenz in the amount of $16,963.20. Payout was approved on a motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion carried. Approve Employee Payout The board was presented with a accumulated leave payout for Scott Nelson in the amount of $20,298.00. Payout was approved on a motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion carried. Approve allowing Auditor’s office to Issue Handwritten Warrant The board approved allowing the Auditor’s office to issue the handwritten warrant for US bank credit card billing next week since there is no meeting. Motion by Rife, second by Straight. Motion carried. Engineer Crack Filling and Asphaltic Surface Treatment Gee Asphalt will has postponed the job and will start in the spring when the ground warms up. 2025 Centerline Pavement Marking Vogel Traffic Services has been awarded the contract for pavement markings on 122 miles of hard surface roads. The contract amount is $122,094.37 Couty owned gas station in Pisgah Mark Flint has completed the removal of the old gas station in Pisgah. They have received a lot of positive and appreciative comments from residents. Utility Permits Permits for the Harrison County REC were presented by Engineer Struble Member Rife moved to approve the permit for 290th, 292nd,296th St, Second by Straight. Motion carried Member Rife moved to approve the permit for 260th and 250th St, Second by Straight. Motion carried Member Rife moved to approve the permit for L20, Second by Straight. Motion carried Comments Scott Nelson gave project updates on the new Conservation Shop project. With business of the day completed, the Board adjourned on a motion by Rife, second by Straight.
