Harrison County Supervisors Meeting January 13, 2026 Chairman Brian Rife called the meeting to order with members Tony Smith and Rebecca Wilkerson in attendance. Motion to approve the tentative agenda was made by Smith, second by Wilkerson. Motion carried. Minutes from December 30th and January 8th were approved on a motion by Wilkerson, second by Smith. Motion Carried. Attendance: Auditor Megan Reffett, Paul Rhoten, Brock Leaders, David Sherer, Thad Pothast, Wendi Barnett, Laura Hansen Budget Discussion with Departments The board met with representatives from the clerk of court, public health, conservation, weed commissioner, zoning, sanitation, roads, treasurer, recorder, jail, general assistance, and veterans’ affairs. Discussion on budget requests for 2026/2027 was held with each department going through each line of their budgets. The board requested changes from public health, conservation, zoning, and jail. These departments will come back at the next budget meeting and present their updated budgets. The board thanked each department for coming in and working through their budgets. Comments Member Wilkerson – gave an update on the upcoming Board of Health meeting With business of the day completed, the Board adjourned on a motion by Rife, second by Smith. Motion carried.
