Harrison County Supervisors Meeting October 30, 2025 Chairman Brian Rife called the meeting to order at 9:00 am in the Boardroom with members Tony Smith and Rebecca Wilkerson in attendance. The motion to approve the tentative agenda was made by Wilkerson, second by Smith. Motion carried. Motion to approve minutes from October 23rd by Wilkerson, second by Smith. Motion carried. Attendance: Auditor Megan Reffett, Paul Rhoten, Brad Doyle, Sarah Delanty, Michele Stirtz, Lindsay Wilson Invoice for Fox Farms for the C&R Levee The Board met as Trustees for the C & R Drainage District. Michelle Kersten, Drainage Clerk, presented the Board with information and after discussion the following were approved: Pay invoice to Fox Farms in the amount of $900.00 for mowing was unanimously approved on a motion by Wilkerson, seconded by Smith. Bank Reconciliation for Motor Vehicle and Property Tax Treasurer Phillips presented the bank reconciliations for the Motor Vehicle and Property Tax bank accounts for the month of September. Phillips also gave an update on the additional revenues that her office has been receiving and increased postage costs. Family Crisis Center Request for Funding for FY26 and FY27 Family Crisis Center representative Lindsay Wilson presented to the Board regarding services provided to Harrison County residents. They provide multiple types of support to victims of homicide and violent crimes at no cost to the residents. They are currently requesting $2800 for FY26 and $2500 for FY27. The Board thanked them for their services to residents and approved the request. Motion to approve $2800 for FY26 and $2500 for FY27 by Wilkerson, second by Smith. Motion carried. Handwritten Warrant to US Bank Motion to approve the handwritten warrant to US Bank in the amount of $6,904.09 by Smith, second by Wilkerson. Motion carried. Comments Brad Doyle – Comments on when the audit will be on the agenda. Michele Stirtz – Comments on the minutes on the website.
