Larry Wayne O’Neill, 82, of Logan died on Saturday, September 30, 2023. He was born on February 2, 1941, at home in Logan to his parents, Elmer and Emma O'Neill. He was a hard worker from a young age and quickly took to farming and had a deep love for the land. Larry was fortunate to meet and marry his high school sweetheart, Donna Clark, on September 1, 1962. Together, they grew a family and a successful farm near Logan and enjoyed 61 rich years together. Larry was dearly loved by his family and many lifelong friends and exuded so many wonderful qualities of kindness, patience and steadiness. He enjoyed getting out on the road to travel, meeting new people and observing the wonders of nature. The family cherishes the endless memories with Larry working together on the farm, caring for animals and pets, fishing, watching or playing sports and taking drives around the county. He especially loved to be behind the wheel for endless hours; the bigger the rigs the better.
Larry is survived by his wife, Donna O’Neill; children, Stephanie Phippen, Cynthia and her husband Jeff Clark, Chris O’Neill and his wife Cynthia and Megan O’Neill and her husband Kiel Edson; grandsons, Kaden, Cody and Jackson Clark; granddaughter, Laura O'Neill; sister, Marlene Lundergard; and many other relatives and dear friends.
Larry's family will hold a private memorial service to celebrate his life and legacy.
