Linda Charlene Globe, 73, of Mondamin, passed away on March 6, 2022, at Northcrest Living Center in Council Bluffs.

Linda Charlene Globe was born in Mondamin, to Roseanne (Stansberry) and Charles Watson Bellville on Aug. 5, 1948.  She went to school at West Harrison Community School in Mondamin.  Linda was blessed with twins, Dena and Jana, in 1968. She married Michael Leonard Globe on August 13, 1971 in Carter Lake, they were married for four years and gave birth to Jennifer and Shawn.  She worked as a telephone operator for Ma Bell in Omaha, Neb., until the Ma Bell break up and then went to work at one of the baby Bell companies as a factory worker until she retired in 2009.  She was a member at the RLDS church in Mondamin, where she enjoyed singing and being involved in the young adults’ group.  She loved to sew, crochet and do anything that involved crafts.  She adored making things for her children and her numerous nieces, nephews, and grandchildren throughout her life.  One of her biggest joys in life was giving gifts to family and friends alike. She was known by many for her wit and sense of humor and had some of the best facial expressions.  You could read her like a book sometimes.  She lived to the beat of her own drum and she definitely wasn’t afraid to speak her mind.

Linda is preceded in death by parents, Charles and Roseanne Bellville; brothers, Glen “Bud” Bellville and John “Johnny” Bellville; and daughter, Dena (Globe) Keckler.

Linda is survived by children, Jana (Tony) Clark, Jennifer Globe, and Shawn Globe; sisters, Carolyn (Donnie) Bothwell and Carolyn “Kel” Belleville; grandchildren, Nate (Taylor) Stender, Tyler (Amanda) Stender (Shawn) Sydney Keckler, Trevor Clark, Zane Globe, Joshua Clark, Elyse Globe, Gabe Globe; great-grandchild, Russel Stender; and many nieces and nephews.
