NOTICE OF COMPLIANCE Please be advised that it has come to the attention of the Little Sioux Inter-County Drainage District (LSIDD) Board of Trustees that several of the irrigation systems located along the drainage district ditches and rivers are infringing upon the LSIDD rights-of-way and levees. The irrigation systems are causing damage by leaving deep tire tracks across the right-of-way, or by depositing water upon the tops of the levees with their end guns. The damages caused by the irrigation systems are a threat to the stability of the levees and a potential danger for those traveling along the rights-of-way. Therefore, the LSIDD hereby requests that any irrigation system in violation of infringing upon the rights-of-way be moved in order to comply with the boundary line between your properties and the LSIDD’s rights-of-way. Failure to comply with the LSIDD’s requests and continued violation of the aforementioned nuisances could result in damage to the LSIDD’s rights-of-way and levees. In the event damages occurs as a result of repeated violations, you may be found liable for such damage under Code of Iowa Section 468.148.
