NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF CITY-OWNED PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 364.7, IOWA CODE (2023) Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Missouri Valley, Iowa, will conduct a public hearing on December 2, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Rand Community Center, 100 South 4th Street, Missouri Valley, Iowa, concerning the proposed conveyance of City-owned property located at 2213 Highway 30, legally described as: Parcel 1: Parcel ID 400001852400000 – “Lot “A” of Lot 1 of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter (NW ¼ NW ¼ ) of Section Fourteen (14), Township Seventy-eight (78) North, Range Forty-four (44), further described as beginning at a point 171 feet East on line form the corner of Section 10, 11, 14, and 15, thence South 27° 30’ East 410 feet along ditch to intersection with West line of Street 423 feet to section line, thence West on Section line 363 feet to place of beginning” Parcel 2: Parcel ID 400001852500000 – “Lot “A” of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter (SW ¼ SW ¼ ) of section Eleven (11), Township Seventy-Eight (78) North, Range Forty-four (44), commencing at the corners of Sections 10, 11, 14, and 15, thence North on line 493 feet to a stake, hence East 10 feet, thence South 25 ½° East 500 feet to a stake, thence north 69 ½° East 273 feet, thence South 29° East 185 feet to stake on West line of Street, thence West on line534 feet to place of beginning. All in Harrison County, Iowa.” At said time and place, a public hearing will be conducted on the proposed conveyance, and at such hearing any person interested may appear and file objections thereto. The City Council shall hear the objections and any evidence for or against the proposal and shall forthwith enter a decision concerning the conveyance of the real property at issue.
