NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON SALE OF PERSONAL PROPERTY Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the West Harrison Community School District ("District") will hold a public hearing on November 8, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. central time, in the High School Library located at 410 Pine Street, Mondamin, Iowa, on the sale of of personal property with a value greater than $20,000 pursuant Iowa Code Sections 279.8 and 297.22. At the time and place set for the public hearing, interested individuals will be given the opportunity to express their views, both orally and in writing, on the following proposal: Proposal to sell two (2) of its 2021 IC CE 77 passenger school busses with VINS of 4DRBUC8NMB322142 and 4DRBUC8NMB322145 to Missouri Valley Community School District for $130,000. The sale is subject to other terms and conditions stated in the resolution of the Board of Directors of the District. A copy of the proposed agreement and offer to buy, as well as the resolution to be considered by the Board following the public hearing, may be reviewed at the office of Secretary of the Board of the District 410 Pine Street, Mondamin, Iowa. After the public hearing, the Board may make a final determination to accept or reject any or all of the proposals, or the Board may defer action on the proposals until a subsequent meeting.
