NOTICE TO FILL VACANCY BY APPOINTMENT Notice is hereby given that the Pisgah City Council has elected to appoint a person to complete a vacant office seat per Iowa Code 372.13(2) for the remainder of a term ending on December 31, 2027, and intends to fill the vacant seat by appointment on January 15, 2025. Notice is further given that, by petition of at least two hundred signatures or at least the number of signatures equal to fifteen percent of the voters who voted for candidates for the office at the preceding regular election at which the office was on the ballot, whichever number is fewer, an election at public expense may be held per Iowa Code 372.13(2).
