In loving memory of Patrick Charles McDunn
Patrick (Pat) Charles McDunn passed away August 14, 2023. Pat was born at home in Dunlap, on August 28, 1950. Pat grew up in Missouri Valley and lived there all his life. Pat worked for Scoular Grain for many years and then at ADM in Fremont, Nebr. where he retired. Pat was united in marriage to Donna Jean Jensen on July 6, 1970. Pat was that person. The one who would do anything for anyone and never ask for a thing in return. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time with his family.
Pat is preceded in death by his siblings Mick McDunn and Char Les Bugenhagen; his parents Opal and Charles McDunn and stepfather, Tony Buter. Parents-in law, Mable and Ray Jensen; brother-in-laws, Bob and Jerry Jensen, and sister-in-law, Joyce Wakehouse.
He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters Patty (Chad) Duysen, Jodi (Kevin) Cerwinske, and Jamie (Dave) McDonald. Grandchildren; Zachary and Justin Duysen, Mackenzie and Joseph Kuhn, Rylie Hollister, Heather McCall, and Dylan McDonald, brothers Robert (Nancy) McDunn and Randy McDunn; sisters Cheryl (Frank) Salter and Mary Chambers (Mark Smith); brother-in-law Michael Jensen, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday August 26 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Missouri Valley Eagles Club. Cards can be sent to Pat's family at 2201 Lawton Trail, Missouri Valley, IA 51555.
