PUBLIC NOTICE CITY OF MISSOURI VALLEY Public notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Missouri Valley is holding a public hearing at 6:05 p.m. on September 21, 2021, at the Rand Center, 100 South 4th Street, Missouri Valley, Iowa, concerning the proposed conveyance of lands legally described as follows: Lot 2 of Lot 7 City Subdivision, an official plat, now included in and forming a part of the City of Missouri Valley, Harrison County, Iowa, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northeast corner of said Lot 2; thence S00º40’11”W (all bearings referenced to the Iowa Regional Coordinate System Zone 6), a distance of 374.15 feet; thence S89º50’53”W a distance of 25.24 feet; thence N00º44’53”E a distance of 99.85 feet; thence S89º57’42”W a distance of 251.32 feet; thence S00º48’04”W a distance of 100.35 feet; thence S89º53’12”W a distance of 100.05 feet; thence N00º46’51”E a distance of 375.88 feet; thence S89º52’47”E a distance of 375.96 feet to the Point of Beginning, containing 115,969.4 square feet or 2.66 acres, more or less, as generally depicted on Exhibit A and can be viewed at City Hall. To MMIS Real Estate, LLC, (“MMIS” herein) for the payment of $20,000.00. Following the public hearing and absent any legitimate objection to the proposal, the City Council is expected to convey the above-described real property to MMIS for the agreed upon payment of $20,000.00.
