Terry Lynn Oloff, 62, died suddenly at his home on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023. He was born on May 30, 1961, to parents Lyle and Betty (Meier) Oloff in Missouri Valley. He was baptized and confirmed in the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Persia. Terry graduated from Woodbine High School in 1979. Soon after graduating, he began working at the Logan Mill driving a feed delivery truck. Cogdill Farm Supply purchased the mill and Terry continued to work for them. In 1999, Terry went to work for the Harrison County Road Department. On July 7, 1990, Terry married Ronda Maguire at the Logan Christian Church.

Terry attended the Logan Christian Church. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, woodworking and fixing whatever needed to be fixed. Terry loved his grandchildren, helping them with projects, making things for them and attending their events. Terry especially loved spending summers with Ronda and the grandkids at the family cabin in Minnesota, road trips to new places and watching Iowa Hawkeye Football.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law, Larry Maguire; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Oloff and Diana Maguire; and nephew, Joshua Oloff. He is survived by his wife, Ronda of Logan; son, Joe Maguire and his wife Rachel of Blair, Neb.; five grandchildren, Maggie, Dylan (Stephanie), RaeLynn, Zoey and Ainzely all of Blair; brothers, Wayne Oloff and his wife Beth of Blair, Jim Oloff and his wife Betty of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Keith Oloff and his wife Bonnie of Logan and Lyle Oloff Jr. of Portsmouth; mother-in-law, Carol Maguire of Logan; and many other relatives and friends.

Private family graveside services were held. Terry’s final resting place is at the Bethel Cemetery.
