WEST HARRISON COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL BOARD MEETING – 5:00 PM April 14, 2025 HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY – MONDAMIN, IA The West Harrison Community School District Board of Education met in regular session with the following present: Randy Wohlers, Julie Kuhlman, and Lorraine Thomas. Directors. Marty Fonley, Superintendent, and Tonya Radil, Board Secretary/Treasurer. Visitors. Bill Nelsen, Deborah Nelsen, Renee King, and Teresa Crosgrove Called to Order. The meeting was called to order in the HIGH SCHOOL LIBRARY at 5:07 p.m. by President Wohlers. Roll Call. Consent Agenda. A motion was made by Director Kuhlman and seconded by Director Thomas to consent the agenda. No Discussion. Directors Wohlers aye, Kuhlman aye, and Thomas aye. 3-0 motion carried. The Public Hearing was opened by President Wohlers. Mr. Fonley reviewed the FY 25-26 Proposed Property Tax and answered questions for those in attendance. Received oral comment. Bill Nelsen, Deborah Nelsen, Renee King, and Teresa Crosgrove addressed Mr. Fonley, wanting an understanding of the proposed property tax. No written comments were received. The public hearing was closed at 5:59 PM. The next regular board meeting will be May 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM. Adjournment. The meeting adjourned at 5:59 PM.
