CITY OF MISSOURI VALLEY, IOWA ORDINANCE NO. 617 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 65.02, SUBSECTION 3, OF THE MISSOURI VALLEY CITY CODE OF ORDINANCES TO ADD STOP INTERSECTIONS ON MICHIGAN STREET AT WEST STREET AND HARRISON STREET BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Missouri Valley, Iowa: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 65.02, Subsection 3 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri Valley, Iowa, is hereby amended by striking the subsection in its entirety and adopting the following in lieu thereof: 3. Michigan Street. Vehicles traveling west on Michigan Street shall stop at the following intersections: a. West Street b. Harrison Street SECTION 2. REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision, or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 4. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval, and publication as required by law. PASSED AND APPROVED this 7th day of October, 2025.
