City of Pisgah City Hall – Council Meeting Minutes October 5, 2022 – 6:00 P.M. Call to Order: Mayor Woodward at 5:58 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: 5:59 p.m. Roll Call: M Carson, L McWilliams, N Madsen, K Wilson, S Baumfalk (late 6:33), Mayor Woodward, City Employees; T Noah, H Nejedly Approval of Agenda: 1st K Wilson 2nd M Carson Yes – 4-0 Approval of Minutes and Bills: 1st K Wilson 2nd L McWilliams Yes – 4-0 Approval of Financial Report: 1st K Wilson 2nd L McWilliams Yes – 4-0 Visitors: Grant Wiley – Council Members got to meet / interview the part-time employee applicant. Mayor and/or Commission Reports: Nikki – Parks & Sewer / Streets, Mike – Lights, Ronny – Water & Landfill, Scott – EMA Public In-Put: Old Business: - 301 First St. property: City owns property and still waiting for obligations to be fulfilled. R Erwin is not allowed to live in the house and no conveyance will be given until all requirements have been met. - Old Gas Station: S Seagal turned the property over to the County Auditor. Mayor Woodward contacted S Bonham and she will address the issue after the elections later in November. New Business: - Vacate 3rd St property – M Carson: The Mayor will contact the City Attorney to start the vacate process for this section of 3rd street. - Renew Build Permit: Permit was approved. - Part-time and fill-in labor – Council agreed that a job description will be written up for applicant with a general physical requirement in it and an hourly wage offer. Council will approve and vote on at the November meeting. Clerk Report: H Nejedly in training. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah – Wolf tree removal and trimming cut down several trees and trimmed damaged trees in both the City and Clark Parks. To stretch funds T Noah used his dump trailer and cleaned up the downed debris and transported it to the Pisgah tree dump. The city received a grant from the SWIF to purchase new trash cans, and a debris vac that will be used to help keep the town clean.
