Bulldogs top Wolverines
Boyer Valley scored their third district win with a convincing 57-6 win over East Mills in 8-Man, District 10 action on Oct. 2 at Malvern.
“We played well from the start in a tough road environment,” stated Head Coach Jeremy Christiansen. “We played well in all three phases, it was fun to watch.”
The Bulldogs’ defense was paced by Brody Koski (7 tackles), Tristen Burkhart (7 tackles, 1 INT), and Trevan Krajicek (6 tackles).
Jericho Ingram (42 yards rushing, 2 TDs) finished with four touchdowns on the night, finishing with two punt returns for touchdowns, with Braxton Donscheski adding a punt return score. Zach Sandvold (1 TD) and Krajicek both had receiving touchdowns.
“Our defense set up our offense with the short field, and our guys executed on both sides,” Christiansen concluded. “Our special teams had a tremendous night blocking, as they played fun, physical football.”
Up Next (Oct. 9 / Oct. 16): Boyer Valley (3-0, 5-1) will host Woodbine for Senior Night on Oct. 9, and travel to Sidney on Oct. 16 for the regular season finale.
