ORDINANCE # AN ORDINANCE AMENDING WATER RATES BE IT ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PISGAH, IOWA: SECTION 1. Purpose. The purpose of this ordinance is to provide periodic adjustments to the water utility rates and effective dates for said adjustments. SECTION 2. Amended. Water utility rates provided by the Code of Ordinances of the City of Pisgah, Iowa, is repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof: Rate: The rates for water service shall be as follows: Effective Date, 1-Jul-24, 1-Jul-25, 1-Jul-26, 1-Jul-27, 1-Jul-28 Minimum Bill, $15.00 , $18.00 , $21.60 , $25.92 , $31.10 Per 1,000 Above Minimum*, $4.00 , $4.80 , $5.76 , $6.91 , $8.29 *Note 1: All properties able to receive water service shall pay the minimum required bill regardless of whether service is actually provided. SECTION 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION 4. Severability. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged to be unconstitutional or invalid, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of this ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged unconstitutional or invalid. SECTION 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be effective from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law, whichever is later.
