ORDINANCE NO. 614 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF MISSOURI VALLEY, IOWA, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO WATER SERVICE SYSTEM Be It Enacted by the City Council of the City of Missouri Valley, Iowa: SECTION 1. NEW SECTION. The Code of Ordinances of the City of Missouri Valley, Iowa, is amended by adding a new Section 90.21 which is hereby adopted to read as follows: 90.21 FINAL BILLS Final bills for water and sewer charges will be prorated using the city software, all other fees will be for full monthly charge. Account holder must notify City Hall of date to have final meter reading done and provide forwarding address. Failure to request a final reading may result in additional charges. SECTION 2. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional. SECTION 3. WHEN EFFECTIVE. This ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.
