Public Notice: The Public is hereby notified of a meeting regarding the Woodbine Board of Adjustment to be held Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, 2:00pm at the City Conference Room, 517 Walker Street. The Board will discuss and hear comments about a requested variance from the City of Woodbine Building Code, from the respective property owner for the following property: 33 2nd St., for a requested variance that would allow a wider sidewalk, next to the house, which would exceed the 25% building area of their lot. Also, The Board will discuss and hear comments about a requested variance from the City of Woodbine Building Code, from the respective property owner for the following property: 409 Normal St., for a requested variance that would allow the construction of a 10’ x 12’ shed, which would exceed the 25% building area of their lot. Any Citizen of Woodbine or any other person having an interest in the requested variances may appear and be heard for or against the proposal. Written comments must be received at the City Clerk’s office, 517 Walker St, Woodbine, IA 51579 before the meeting.
