CITY OF MONDAMIN SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING MINUTES Mondamin City Hall Monday, February 15, 2021 7:00 P.M. 1. Opening of Meeting a. Mayor Maggie Rains called the meeting to order by phone at 7:01 p.m., leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. b. Roll Call Council members present: James Rains by phone, Mary Seago, Karen Breyfogle, Jerry Shelton, and Terry Coyle. Staff present: Alyx Hirst. Public present: None. c. Approval of Agenda Motion made to approve agenda by K. Breyfogle, with a second by J. Shelton. Motion carried 5-0. 2. Public Comments No public was present for comments. No written comments were received. 3. New Business a. Resolution 2021-06: Approving FY2021/2022 Maximum Property Dollars J. Shelton motioned to approve Resolution 2021-06 and it was seconded by K. Breyfogle. Roll call. All ayes. b. Fire Suppression Bid: Johnson Controls K. Breyfogle made a motion to accept bid for services from Johnson Controls. Motion was seconded by T. Coyle. Motion carried 5-0. c. Propane Replacement Line: Library Motion by K. Breyfogle to accept the refund from Heartland Co-op in the amount of $140.00 for propane line replacement and the remainder of the invoice is to be paid out of the general fund. Motion was seconded by J. Shelton. Motion carried 5-0. d. ICAP Risk Assessment Recommendations Motion from T. Coyle to replace EXIT signs at the community center with combination EXIT signs with dual emergency lights; as well as to check EXIT signs at library for repair or replacement. Motion seconded by M. Seago. Motion carried 5-0. e. Mask Mandate: City Buildings Item scratched. f. ADA Accessible Bathroom & Flooring at City Hall Motion to accept bid from DAOS Construction by K. Breyfogle. Motion seconded by T. Coyle. Motion carried 5-0. 4. Adjourn Having no further business to conduct, K. Breyfogle made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by T. Coyle. Motion carried 5-0.
