There has been no further activity at the residence. The City is still waiting for Attorney to prepare the required certified letter / documents. - Vacate 3rd St property: City Attorney C Fichter contacted T Noah with the necessary paperwork for an Open Hearing. At 6:14 p.m. Mayor Woodward; In the City of Pisgah, IA. Waive the 2nd and 3rd meetings – Call Motion to Pass Signed Ordinance #1-182023 – S Baumfalk, L McWilliams and by phone K Wilson. Mayor Signed and Sealed – send to Attorney. New Business: - 109 E Main St. Property – Resident T Anderson on multiple occasions has been verbally abusive with T Noah and Mayor Woodward about snow at the end of his drive, and the plow moving rock away from his drive. The drive does not meet city code as it protrudes into the street. The council discussed options for dealing with this issue. - Street Repairs / Improvements – Get estimates for: Grind down, build-up crown and seal coat. Approve 8 loads of rock to be delivered ahead of spring. – 1st M Carson 2nd S Baumfalk Yes – 3-0 - City Hall Eves / Roofing – Get estimates for repairs. – 1st L McWilliams 2nd M Carson Yes – 3-0 - Recycle Bin Lot – Tear Down – Mayor Woodward contacted the county about getting assistance to tear down the old gas station as the lot belongs to the county and the city is not eligible for grants to tear it down. The county supervisors will review the situation at their next meeting. T Noah offered to attend the meeting. - Water Class in February – T Noah is approved to attend water conference in February to obtain CEUS. 1st M Carson 2nd S Baumfalk Yes – 3-0 Clerk Report: Six-month probation period is past and still learning / enjoying the position. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah – City Attorney C Fichter asked if our meetings could be moved to the 2nd Thursday of the month to work better with his schedule and all agreed. Max Levy will be addressed next meeting, with Public Hearing, and published in the Newspaper. Fire Department: T Noah – Everything is good with the Fire Dept. He met with the County Trustee to discuss putting monies in reserve for future trucks and equipment. CPR and BLS Class Saturday 1/21/23 and 1/28/23 at the Pisgah DNR Visitor center. More classes to be scheduled in February and March if needed.
