City of Pisgah City Hall – Council Meeting Minutes March 16, 2023 – 6:00 P.M. Call to Order: Mayor Woodward at 6:06 p.m. Pledge of Allegiance: 6:06 p.m. Roll Call: S Baumfalk, N Madsen, K Wilson & Mayor Woodward (Absent M Carson, L McWilliams) City Employees; T Noah, H Nejedly Approval of Agenda: 1st K Wilson 2nd S Baumfalk Yes – 3-0 Approval of Minutes and Bills: 1st S Baumfalk 2nd K Wilson Yes – 3-0 Approval of Financial Report: 1st K Wilson 2nd N Madsen Yes – 3-0 Visitors: C Fichter was not present. Mayor and/or Commission Reports: Nikki – Parks & Sewer / Streets, Mike – Lights, Ronny – Water & Landfill, Scott – EMA Public In-Put: None Old Business: None New Business: - Review Budget – Budget was discussed and will be finalized for the April Meeting Clerk Report: All good. Maintenance, Water and Sewer Report: T Noah – Voiced his frustration to the Council about receiving calls, and he is weary of residents calling him after normal business hours and even showing up at his home with complaints and minor issues. Any non-emergency issues that residents have should be made to the Mayor or City Hall, during normal business hours and so they can be addressed or presented to the Council. T Noah reported that the grant he wrote to Omaha Community foundation awarded the City a $6,503 to pay for updates and renovation of the shelter house. T Noah informed the council that the grant was written on his free time, not paid time. T Noah informed the Council that a ICAP inspection was performed, and the report came back very positive with no recommendations or requirements at this time. Fire Department: T Noah – A Pisgah fire truck was damaged during a recent fire call by the Little Sioux Fire Dept. Little Sioux’ insurance company will be covering the damages. The Pisgah Fire dept drove their fire trucks escorting the Basketball Team out of town. Two new volunteers have joined the fire dept. Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser is scheduled for April 22nd.
