Minutes of Special Meeting Board of Directors The Missouri Valley Community School District Tuesday, May 24, 2022 Call to Order President Jeff Janssen called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the District Office Conference Room, 109 E Michigan Street, Missouri Valley, Iowa. Roll Call Present: Jeff Janssen, John Ferris, Joanna Barnard and Bridget Myler via Zoom. Absent: Carrie Watson. Also Present: Superintendent Brent Hoesing, and Secretary Teresa Griffith. Approve Agenda Director Barnard approved the agenda. Director Ferris seconded. All Ayes; motion carried. Recognition and Communication: Visitors/Gifts/Services None PUBLIC HEARING 2021-2022 Budget Amendment Superintendent Hoesing discussed the amendment to budget. There being no public input the district proceeded with the meeting. BOARD GOVERNANCE Approval of Amended Budget Director Barnard motioned to approve the amendment of the 2021-2022 budget as published. Director Myler seconded. All Ayes; motion carried. SUPERINTENDENT REPORT Superintendent Hoesing spoke and answered questions on the following topics: summer project, and superintendent transition. ADJOURNMENT The next Regular Board meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 13, 2022, to begin at 6:00 P.M. Director Barnard made a motion to adjourn the meeting, and Director Ferris seconded.
