PISGAH CITY COUNCIL CITY HALL – COUNCIL MEETING MAY 4, 2022 – 6:00 P.M. Called to order by Mayor Ronny Woodward at 6:02 pm, leading those present in the Pledge of Allegiance. Roll Call: Present, Ronny Woodward, Mayor, Council Members; Scott Baumfalk, Mike Carson, Lori McWilliams, Nikki Madsen, Karen Wilson, and Staff; Todd Noah-Public Works/City Administrator Approval of Agenda- Motioned by L McWilliams, 2nd by S. Baumfalk, motion passed 5-0 Approval of Minutes & Bills Motioned by K. Wilson 2nd S. Baumfalk motion passed 5-0 Visitors: N/A OLD BUSINESS: Discussed properties that had already been clean up, and those who had contacted the City with plans. Those who have not complied will be given until 5/15/22 and a second letter with fine information will be sent, after that Law Enforcement will be contracted to deliver final clean-up notice. NEW BUSINESS: Mayor Woodward discussed an interest rate reduction from 3% down to 1.75% on the city sewer loan. Resolution 439111-4 was introduced by S. Baumfalk, and 2nd by M. Carson, followed by a Roll Call vote of all present to pass the resolution 5-0. Heather Nejedly was present for a second interview. The Council and Mayor discussed the job description and expectations. Heather was offered and accepted a probationary period of 90 days as deputy clerk. Her office hours were set as follows Monday 8am-12, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 1pm-5pm and Wednesday 2pm-6pm. Other discussions not voted on; property clean up enforcement options, and how to deal with dogs running at large. Clerk Report, Council was notified that the new system is installed and about 90 percent completed, we will be running the new system next month along side the old to compare and mark sure that everything is calculating correctly. Maintenance Report, T Noah updated the council on welcome sign installation, road repairs, and repairs to the city park.
